On-Site Technicians
We are looking for experienced Surgical Technicians that are interested in taking a journey down a new path of the medical field. SterilMed has openings across the US for qualified Surgical Technicians to support our reprocessing and repair services to hospitals, clinics and medical centers. Desired qualifications include being detailed orientated, ability to work independently, prior experience in an OR setting with Central Service or a similar environment where decontamination and preparation of surgical instruments was performed and vast knowledge of medical devices a plus.
Rigid Repair Technician
Greensboro, NC
Repair endoscopes to include disassembly of scopes, identifying and replacing defective components. Position also includes testing completed repairs for quality performance.
Power Lab Level 1 Technician
Greensboro, NC
Duties and responsibilities include the repair of hand-held pneumatic power driven medical instruments that are used in various surgical procedures. Successful applicants should possess knowledge of wiring diagrams, batteries, air hoses, and various internal electro-mechanical assemblies with ability to diagnose, solder, repair, rebuild, or replace defective components. Successful applicants should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED; and one to three months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of experience and training; we prefer an associates degree, certificate, or diploma in electronics.
